The AuburnSports.com Rundown

Bryan Matthews, Brian Stultz, Christian Clemente, Caleb Jones and Jay G. Tate reconvene for a NEW SHOW, our second in three days, that focuses primarily on the Fightin' Pearls.

Can this team make a deep NCAA Tournament run without elite three-point shooting? Can they get some elite three-point shooting through improvement and better shot selection?

B-Matt also delves into baseball season a bit, Caleb gets us up to speed on women's basketball and softball while Sir Christian keeps us updated on football recruiting.

The show is presented by VooDoo Wing Company with locations in Auburn, Mobile, Tuscaloosa and Las Vegas. Check them out IN PERSON for delicious chicken or on the web at www.voodoowingco.com.

Jay G. Tate journeys down to Mobile to tape a WEEEKEND SHOW with Bunker legends Jhead, LockedOn, Chip Chip, The Canoeman, PocketWatch and Mobile Alum.

The gang generally gives Sir J Head the floor to discuss tthe current state of Auburn football — what's happened, what needs to happen, how the Tigers will solve their roster problems.

The gang also discusses the basketball team's narrrow loss at Florida and what it means for this team's immediate future.

Having fun in Mobile during Mardi Gras is a tradition. SO WHY NOT DO THAT ON THE SHOW? That was the goal. WE ACHIEVED IT.

Bryan Matthews, Brian Stultz, Caleb Jones, Christian Clemente and Jay G. Tate reconvene to review some developments.

Bryan Harsin is safe after the university's investigation into ... whatever the university was investigating him for ... and will resume preparations for the 2022 season. What happened? Why did this happen? How damaging was this while kerfuffle for Harsin and Auburn football?

So many questions.

We also discuss Allen Greene's future and take a look at the best team on campus — Bruce Pearl's Fightin' Tigers who remain one game clear atop the SEC standings after a thorough thrashing of the Texas A&M Aggies.

All that plus a few terrible takes from Stultz awaits you during this episode of THE RUNDOWN.

Bryan Harsin is under investigation for ... something. Nobody knows specifically. We know that certain people would like to fire him for what they perceive as incompetence, but is the university willing to spend $18 million (plus a bit more for assistant coaches) to make him go away?

The guys also review the Tigers' loss to the hated Razorbacks of Northwestern Arkansas and ponder what that loss will mean for this team moving forward. Also, is Zep Jasper ready to return?

All that plus a few terrible takes from Stultz awaits you during this episode of THE RUNDOWN.

It's National Signing Day! So why does an Auburn site have zero stories on its front page about the new signees? Well, there aren't any.

Why aren't there any? Good question. The guys tackle that dilemma and review just what in the world happened with recently resigned offensive coordinator Austin Davis. It appears Auburn will run a proper search to find a replacement, which is good news.

Basketball? It's all good news. The team is rolling and now has a season sweep of Alabama under its belt. A weekend game at Georgia doesn't seem like a big deal, but the upcoming game at Arkansas is a different challenge altogether.
